Upcoming SNA Conventions

MNSA Annual Convention: February 3-5, Ann Arbor, MI

The Michigan Nursing Students Association Annual Convention will be held in Ann Arbor, MI on February 3-5th. GVSU’s SNA will be sending 20 members to the convention this year. Attending conventions is an excellent way to network, learn about the latest ideas and events happening in nursing, and to get to know fellow classmates. 

Students will need to pay $29 to attend and will have to pay for their meals. SNA will cover the costs for hotel, gas, convention registration, and one meal. We are staying at the Sheraton Hotel. Students will stay in a room with 4 other students. Students will also carpool to Ann Arbor together. We will leave Friday morning and drive back Sunday. 

There will be a sign-up sheet passed around at the first SNA meeting on January 9th at noon in CHS 469. The sign-up sheet will then be posted on Angela Caruso’s office door, CHS 316. If you sign up you are guaranteeing that you are available for these dates and that you are committing to pay the $29 to attend. The people chosen to attend are determined by level of involvement starting with Board members, delegates, and then SNA members who are not delegates. The final day to sign-up will be Wednesday January 18th at 5pm.
