INFORMATION SESSIONS

Winter 2010

The Kirkhof College of Nursing (KCON) is pleased to offer two graduate degree programs: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) for the Advanced Generalist/Clinical Nurse Leader and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

The Advanced Generalist MSN is designed to provide students with the clinical leadership skills essential for the integration of evidencebased practice and coordination of care delivery processes at the patientprovider interface. MSN graduates will be eligible to sit for Clinical Nurse Leader certification.

The DNP is designed for nurses seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice and offers an alternative to researchfocused doctoral programs. Two emphasis areas are offered: Advanced Practice Nursing (child/adolescent or adult/older adult) or Nursing Administration and Health Care Systems.
