Kids Food Basket

Kids Food Basket is a hunger relief program for kids that currently provides a sack supper to approximately 640 elementary school children in Greater Grand Rapids; these children who have been identified by school officials as being nutritionally at-risk and would not otherwise be receiving an evening meal. Kids Food Basket is the only hunger relief program working with the school systems to assist undernourished children.

  • Pine Rest's adolescent residential units have a continual need for volunteer mentors (especially male mentors) to be role models for at-risk teens. These young people struggle with mental illness and abuse and neglect in their past. They have a high need for reliable and healthy people in their lives. Is looking for a new NURSERY SUPERVISOR, for approximately 3 hours each Sunday. Requirements include experience with children, a current negative TB test, certification in child/infant CPR and First Aid, references and a background check.
