Hi! My name is Megan Kaid and I am currently in NUR 420. I am very thankful to have this opportunity to serve you for the next two semesters as president!  Being involved in SNA has made my experience in nursing school come to life because of the opportunity to make a difference. I previously served as the Breakthrough to Nursing Director for two semesters, where I shared my passion for nursing with others by holding community events. I currently serve as a board member on the Michigan Student Nurses' Association as Image and Breakthrough Chair, where I provide nursing schools in Michigan ideas and opportunities to hold events to promote nursing in their community. I waitress at Buffalo Wild Wings and also work in the Learning Resource Center at the CHS as a lab assistant. I like to spend time with friends and my large family- which includes one brother, four sisters, my mom and dad and three dogs. After graduation in December I plan on moving back to my hometown of Milford, MI and explore different fields of nursing as an RN to see which I like best!
