Hello everyone, my name is Lindsey Pierzynski and I am currently secretary on our GVSU SNA Board of Directors. I am from Livonia, Michigan, which is back on the east side of the state. I am so thankful to be a part of a great student organization such as our very own SNA because it has given me many opportunities to enhance my experience as a nursing student. Not only was I able to attend the NSNA national convention this past winter semester,(which was an amazing experience that I encourage everyone to consider signing up for!), I have also made many valuable friendships during my time here at KCON. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, working out, going to the beach, and spending some quality time with friends :) I currently work at an assisted living facility, with Alzheimer and dementia residents and absolutely love my job. I'm not sure where I will want to work upon graduation, but I am open to any and all new experiences along the way. My advice to all nursing students is to take time for yourself and go out and have fun, because nursing school will FLY BY!!!
